Our high school initiatives include:
Technology in Medicine Outreach Program (TOP)
A 6-12 month structure co-op placement where up to three (3) students will rotate through our research groups to gain first-hand experience in biomedical engineering. At the end of the rotation, the students will work together on a joint project with an opportunity to present their solution to a team of experts.
This is designed as an open competition between teams from different schools involved in a design-build process. The challenge is centered around a medical or surgical theme related to medical imaging, surgical tools and/or training.
